Which Facebook links work?
Any public video: feed videos (/<page>/videos/<id>), Watch links (/watch/?v=<id>), Reels (/reel/<id>), /share/v/ and /share/r/ share links, and fb.watch shortlinks.
Can it download private Facebook videos?
No. Videos set to friends-only or private aren't accessible to anyone without logging in, and we don't bypass privacy settings. Only public videos work.
Does it work for Facebook Reels?
Yes. Both /reel/<id> URLs and the /share/r/ share links resolve correctly.
Is the video HD?
When the original was uploaded in HD, the HD variant is offered. Otherwise you get the best quality Facebook stored.
Do you store the videos?
No. The download is resolved on demand and we don't keep copies.
Is it legal?
Downloading public content for personal use is generally fine, but you are responsible for respecting copyright and Facebook's terms. Don't republish someone else's video as your own.
